Beach artist Anna Clarey will be showing her latest collection of acrylics at Cafe Florentin, 2010 Queen St. E. from now through April. The paintings include local Beach scenes as well as florals, and landscapes from her recent travels.
While interested in art since childhood, Clarey only took up painting seriously five years ago while on a child-rearing break from work. She prefers acrylics for their vibrant colours and fast drying. Her paintings are created from photos she takes while in and around the neighbourhood. Clarey is a member of the Beach Guild of Fine Arts.
